During our journey to explore new opportunities and avenues, we have given emphasis on Development of Application cum Display centre at 20A Lake View Road, to provide with the demonstration/presentation, to educate our valued clients and customers about LED's and Digital signage.

Our efforts are now paying us initial success and big MNC and Banks viz. Vodafone, State Bank of India, ING Bank, Pantaloon, Reliance Industries, DLF, Fort Group, Maruti, Croma are changing their Signage specification from Tube lights to ECO friendly LED’s light. LEDs play an important part in reducing Green gases and saving energy consumption.

For better understanding of Products and its application, we have tie-up with the good energy saving OEM manufacturers viz. Phillips AXIOM, ZLED, PERMLIGHT, BARCODA to explore our initiative in this impending journey and also to extend comprehensive solutions to our customer on an ongoing basis.

Our R&D unit has been operating in association with the School of Illumination Science, Engineering and Design, of Jadavpur University in designing the LED products for the emerging market.

We have also made good number of efforts to educate our valuable clients about Global Warming and eco-friendly energy lights. To create pollution free Environment and combat with Global Warming, Energy Saving LED would be the optimal solution of lighting and Signage needs. As per the statistics, more than 50% of Global Warming occurs due to emissions produced by the electricity generation of power plants. Our own policies for sustainable development are the best way to reduce power plant emission is to use less electricity.

The Bureau of Energy Efficiency has brought out the Energy Conservation Building code (ECBC), which was launched by the Power Minister on May 27, 2007. The code sets minimum standards for lighting, heating and air conditioning of the commercial building. We have already applied for empanelment to take initiative in the implementation of the code. Initially implementation of the code will be voluntary, but will be made mandatory soon under the Energy conservation Act 2001 for the commercial building having load of 500 KW or more.

In Solar energy, we are promoting Sharp solar panel for street light solutions and US based D-light for solar lantern. In order to accomplish with the Luminaries, we are focused on sign on LED-based technology for luminaries’ manufacturers, such as Permlight. Though it is expensive now, but we are sure this would create a revolution in lighting industry in the days to come. Scientists are now making vital breakthroughs that would make them cheap and efficient enough to be used in mass scale within two or three years.

We have received a tremendous response from the press as an innovative and new medium of advertisement which was published in quite a few news papers.

It’s time for the city’s developers & builders to go green. With the Centre’s green rating project scheduled to be launched on August 6, environment watchdogs have decided to encourage commercial buildings that will meet energy saving norms. Fort has started their initiative to convert their conventional signage into LED signage in meeting the green norms. They have already emphasised the green norms to create epicentre of Corporate Responsibility.

All of us need to make efforts towards energy conservation. Efficient use of energy is itself a mechanism for reducing global warming. FORT’s effort would call on all individuals, businesses, corporate organizations, Government offices and other Real State competitors to evaluate their energy consumption patterns and cut out wasteful expenditure of energy.

In fact, West Bengal Green Energy Development Corporation (WBGEDC) wants the evaluation to be made mandatory for all commercial and IT buildings. FORT is changing their specification from Tube lights to LEDs. LEDs play an important part in reducing Green gases. In addition to low wattage, LED can also provide bonus of long life and energy consumption. Saving of lighting energy reduces consumption of the total electric energy.
